Since losing my beloved son, Zach, to drugs I have made it my mission to educate and raise awareness in my community about drugs. Drug addiction is a complicated evil. It effects different people in different ways. Zach\'s struggle with addiction began many years before his death. You can read a little of the history here on my website. Every time I go to a school and talk to kids about drugs I am amazed by how little they know. Yet drugs have already touched their young lives. They have a brother, friend, mother, somebody they know is a drug addict or alcoholic and they are scared and don\'t know where to turn.I have decided to funnel my efforts to prevention rather than recovery. I know that there are some who have kicked the addiction, but that eludes me. My son did not recover. This is why I tell kids to NEVER try drugs- not once.

My brother was doin weed and now that i know what could happen i got him help and i hope he quits....he is 18 so who knows. well i just thought i should send my thoughts!
